ABOUT SMART-FLO LTD
From humble beginnings, Smart-Flo Ltd was established in 2012 buy two time served and fully-qualified plumbing engineers; Phil Marwood and James Sherry.
Phil and James are the two company directors and the business is based at their premises in Malton, North Yorkshire. With a staff of competent engineers the company can offer all aspects of plumbing and heating, plus additional services such as bathroom installation and tiling.
Smart-Flo are fully aware of current trends and the latest plumbing and heating technology. They embrace renewable energy methods and have invested heavily on training and certification for these.
To date, Smart-Flo have worked on many projects, ranging from relatively small re-furbished dwellings to large commercial enterprises. The company is also fortunate to work regularly at prestigious premises; Castle Howard and Malton Estate.
The future looks bright for Smart-flo, with quality contracts and an ever-increasing work schedule. However, Smart-Flo have made a conscious effort not to grow too big too quickly and appreciate that selecting professional, well-trained employees is a key factor to the success of the company.

Equipment guarantees & UK laws require you to keep your heating system up-to-date. We offer annual servicing of boilers and equipment. We also carry our Landlords Gas Safety Certification. Plus Legionella Risk Assessments – a legal requirement now for all domestic rental properties in the UK.

JAMES SHERRY
DIRECTOR
James is an experienced time served plumber with over 25 years gained with the same company and now in partnership with Smart Flo.
ROB BUCZYNSKI
SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
10 years experience in the plumbing and heating profession. Rob takes care of gas and oil servicing plus landlord certification. He also looks after our maintenance contract work.
SAM MILBURN
APPRENTICE PLUMBER
Sam left school this summer after enrolling on an apprenticeship scheme with Smart-Flo. He attends York college and is excelling in his chosen studies. He is looking forward to a long career with Smart-Flo.
PHIL MARWOOD
DIRECTOR
Phil is a time served plumber with 20 years experience and has been self-employed for 10 years, working in and around Yorkshire.
CONNOR SHIPLEY
APPRENTICE PLUMBER
A keen team player, Conner joined Smart-Flo as a mature apprentice in 2013. He is currently in the advanced stages to become a qualified plumbing and heating engineer.
KEV MOORE
PLUMBER & HEATING ENGINEER
A plumber with many years experience, Kev’s wealth of knowledge is second to none in the trade. A very conscientiousness employee who is always on hand to pass his wisdom onto our apprentices.
